Ceci magazine has set a record of an issue being sold on within a day
 in China by featuring Hallyu idol group Super Junior on their cover.
According to a Ceci representative on the 6th, it was highly 
effective to model Super Junior on the front cover of Ceci China, with 
the magazine being sold just within a day. Ceci China was sold in 
Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and some other major cities in China. The 
concept of the photoshoot was of a crime scene, with the 10 Super Junior
 members acting as prosecutors and crime suspects, detectives and 
reporters as well as other roles. They took many photos with a 
movie-style story theme, the unique style attracting much attention. 
Ceci China’s vice-president remarked, “Although we already know that 
Super Junior has become the representative Hallyu stars in China, we 
have once again felt the impact of their popularity and their pole 
position in spreading Hallyu through the hot sales of this month’s issue
 of Ceci China. Ceci China will continue to feature the best Korean 
stars and Korean culture, aiding the exchange of the Korean and Chinese 
cultures.
Ceci entered the China market by lauching Ceci China in June 2008, 
and Ceci China is currently being picked by Chinese women as the leading
 source for the latest Asian trends. Meanwhile, even with member Kim 
Heechul enlisting on the 1st, Super Junior is continuing with their 
activities. On the 2nd to the 4th, they participated in “SM Town Live in
 Tokyo” concert with fellow labelmates like Dong Bang Shin Ki, Girls’ 
Generation, BoA and SHINee at Tokyo Dome, attracting 50,000 fans a day 
and 150,000 fans in their 3-day concert.
